Ode to a Flower Child

Today's Wonder of the World is...the Flower Child!

I'm absolutely in love with this photo. Girls and boys, all abloom!
How I wish I could bribe the people in my household into petal-y garb. Sadly it will never happen.

Too bad. Look how cute this little flower girl is.

Call me a wacky weirdo if you want, but it just cheers my soul to see people walking around in flower suits. So you can probably understand why I can't stop watching this commercial.

What creative genius!
Now I have a terrible urge to grab somebody's baby and fluff up the petals around its head.

Apparently some children don't appreciate it.

Is it my imagination, or is that flower pouting?

Of course, some folks are just made to be flowers.

And others are made to eat them.

See that flower bud? It's one of the last remaining corn poppies Todd planted in the scrubby area near our back fence. As soon as they bloom, Tanner eats them for a snack.

Hey, maybe Tanner would help me live out my dreams!
After all, he doesn't have the words to complain!

But there might be problems with the occasional bee...

Have a wonder-full Monday, y'all!
Love, Becky
PS. If you too would like to hogtie your family and force them into flower suits, you might enjoy this how-to video. It's inspiring!

HeeeeY Becky!
Pure Genius. Proof that we humans must be amazingly fascinating creatures for God to watch.
Must thank you again for what you do for me. You are a bright light in my day. Have a very happy one. Get Todd planting more poppies for Tanner. It's the least he can do! What a joy!

I'm a fan of flower people. :)
The pouting flower is my favorite.

I enjoyed the making of the commercial - it's almost too much to take in on a 30 second spot.

I love the babies in flowers pictures by Anne Geddis.

I was Mary Quite Contrary one year for Halloween--my sister was the flower--these photos brought back memories of those ridiculous costumes (pink gingham bloomers!!!)

hugs to you and a big old hug for Tanner.

Love it. That Prius commercial is so intriguing and beautiful but, for some reason ... it also freaks me out a little! :-)

I love flower garb, too!

That is a cool commercial! I've seen it before and I haven't tired of seeing it! It's so visually interesting.

I had seen the news about the Michelin employees that were on the crashed plane from Brazil to France. Hope all is well with you and Todd!

Julie, welcome to the blog!

TC, it's so sad. Todd knew one of the guys very well. So tragic.
